do NOT go to that school. Under any circumstances. Read this:

Also search google with ‘devry complaints’ & you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Try a local junior college, or move & find a public one. For a fraction of the $$$ of this so-called ‘private institution’. Devry is horrible.

Devry is a joke around here. I live in southern CA. You are competing with other people who got their degree from a real accredited university. Let me give you an example, my friend went to devry and got her BA in accounting. 5 years later..she is working as a customer service rep getting 13 dollars an hour. I majored in accounting from an university and work as an accountant for a bank. My salary is 48,000 a year. She never got hired as an accountant because a degree from an university is much better than one from Devry. If you know their is a big need for construction management and there is not much competition, then do it.

In every way that should matter, DeVry is a fine school for Project Management. You may be able to finish a degree there in many circumstances where scheduling, location or travel requirements make attending traditional schools difficult. They have a great staff and work hard to help you succeed.

Unfortunately, you will face the same prejudice and bigotry from prospective employers as you see displayed here. Most of the employers you will interview with, or at least who will look at your resume, will be graduates of traditional schools and they will never give your education a fair chance. The quality of the education will never matter as much as the name on the degree.

Your degree must be proof not only of your learning but also of your genuflection toward the established powers that rule our society. Your school must be run as the indoctrination wing of either the Government or the Church. As Americans, we believe strongly in separation of church and state and even more strongly in the connection of Church and Education or the State and Education. Education must be subservient to one or both or it will be free to teach anything.

Also, they must lose money. Professors can profit; administrators can profit; even corporations funding research can profit from the results but the school itself must not be “for profit,” or it is evil. The bottom line must be negative and the debt must be passed on to the people to be covered by taxes or tithes. Self-sufficient, student-funded schools that work for their students represent too much independence and cannot be allowed to issue degrees that will be recognized as legitimate.

Florida is for people who barely made it out of DeVry to go and practice law. That much is clear.
